The Circular Supermarket<\/b><\/h1>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

We developed a circular furnishing concept for a large supermarket chain. This project involved more than 20 suppliers and service providers. By finding better solutions for next-use applications, we were able to move from 80% waste to more than 80% reuse of materials. In this way, we achieved a significant capex reduction and a 60% reduction in CO2<\/sub> emissions related to material use.<\/p>\n

All furnishing elements were recorded in digital product passports, making all relevant information to put the circular concept into practice always available. This makes this project a blueprint for the supermarket of the future: circular.<\/p>\n

Circularity in action: C_passport\u00ae<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

Circular concepts must be followed, otherwise sustainable design loses its added value. This is why we have captured all design elements in C_passports\u00ae<\/a>. The result? For the entire supply chain, it is clear which materials (as much as possible recycled) have been used, what the impact of those materials is and what the next applications are. That information is kept up-to-date and supplemented where possible in the coming years. This is how we move from ambition to transition: the circular concept comes to fruition.<\/p>\n
